  • Play a greater role in training new entrants to the profession through our School Direct programme
  • Lead peer-to-peer professional and leadership development, including licensed leadership programmes
  • Identify and develop leadership potential
  • Provide support for other schools through the deployment of NLEs, LLEs and NLGs
  • Designate and broker Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs)

Engagement in school experience programme or similar:

We offer places via the School Experience Portal (SEP) and our Passport School Experience Programme.

Unique selling point of your programme:

Being a small-medium sized programme, we pride ourselves on the fact that our programme has personalised, bespoke support at its heart. Our outstanding programme also has an established, local collaborative of schools who work together to provide the core of the course (WLCT). We also offer enhanced placements in Early Years and Secondary phases, an opportunity to enhance subject knowledge and experience in set subject areas and the opportunity to teach abroad.

Professional pathway beyond ITT:

Through the Teaching School we offer a local career pathway from Trainee through to Headship.
